With a love for Spain, Spaniards, and especially university students, we have come together as the Madrid University Team – desiring to see Christ’s kingdom come among Spanish students. The Madrid University team is made up of Jan Johnsonius (career - International Board), and other International Board workers as well as various study abroad students who have a heart to see students come to Christ while they complete a semester or two of overseas study in Madrid. What We’re About Our ministry involves building relationships with Spanish university students, through attending university classes, hanging out on campus, language exchanges (intercambios) with Spaniards, English discussion groups on campus, sports, and more. We also have seeker discussion groups with a focus on providing Spanish university students a place to learn more about Christianity and explore the questions that they face in daily life. They are geared to reaching the Post-Modern university student who is not likely to enter the doors of a traditional church.
